A Brick in the Valley

Boredom, Heaven, Starbucks, Alcorn

Like so many others, I wasn’t sure when I was growing up that I wanted to go to heaven.  I pictured it as a combination of older people’s homes (the kind with lots of crystal and plastic covers on the furniture) & church – – I found both boring.

But, then I never wanted to go to hell.

Thankfully, my theology has made some progress since then — and now, there are great resources available like Randy Alcorn’s book, Heaven.  .  .

In any case, check out Alcorn’s recent exchange with a columnist who isn’t interested in heaven (and doesn’t fear hell).
